| Bud Hamilton, a retired service technician from IBM, founded Hamilton Business Machines in Carson City, Nevada on March 29th, 1988. After working for IBM for 33 years, Bud took an early retirement incentive and started his own business servicing typewriters. The business grew quickly, and in 1991 he and his youngest son, Ken became partners. Together they built up the business, grossing on average 175,000 dollars annually. When things started slowing down in the typewriter field, Ken was trained to work on printers, fax machines, and copiers. Hamilton Business Machines clients range from federal and local government entities, Hospitals, large manufacturing plants, to smaller mom and pop businesses and home offices.
Hamilton Business Machines has always been involved in the community, joining several organizations, including NNDA, the Jaycee’s, and the local Chamber of Commerce, which Ken is currently serving on the Board of Directors. | | | |
